On March 5, 2005,
the Archbishop Shaw Alumni Association held its raffle. At the
function, we collected over $10,000 for our Endowment Fund. We
also gave away nine $100 prizes and a Grand Prize of $10,000.
Mr. Mark Smith, a graduate of the Class of 1977, won the Grand
Prize. The function was a complete success and all in attendance
thoroughly enjoyed themselves. “Midnight
Special” provided music and the food was prepared by fellow
alumnus Chef Emile Stieffel of Aurora Catering.
Special thanks goes out to the Archbishop Blenk KC Council 1905
and Grand Knight Tony Buckley for their generosity and support
of our function.
The date has been set for
Satuday, August 5, 2006. If you
would like to secure a ticket to the event in advance, please
contact David Frank (491-2346) to reserve your ticket. The cost
is $100 per ticket and entitles you for the chance at the
$10,000 grand prize. More details to follow soon!
